Day 31 of Cooking for Mom – Breakfast Recipe: Yam & Almond Milk

 

Ingredients: 45g Chinese yam, 30g almonds, 15g glutinous rice, 8g poria (Poria cocos), 800ml water, 2g dried rose petals


Instructions:

1. Rinse the yam, almonds, glutinous rice, and poria twice, then place them into the soy milk machine

2. Add water up to 800ml

3. Set the soy milk machine to the “Soy Milk” mode (38 minutes)

4. Garnish with dried rose petals before serving.


Breakfast pairing: Egg-flavored steamed bun pieces, blanched greens, and tomatoes.
